At every one of our events, we don’t just recognize the highest scores—we celebrate standout performances in every way possible! Yes, you’ll find Overall High Score awards and a full lineup of score-based honors—but what truly makes our awards program shine is the balance.

Our coveted Adjudicators’ Choice Awards spotlight dancers who light up the stage with passion, ambition, star power, and potential—not just technical marks. These special awards come with plaques, trophies, eye-catching medallions, scholarships for future training, and even cash prizes.

It’s more than a competition—it’s a celebration of everything that makes a dancer truly unforgettable!

What makes each event special

Both Catch a Rising Star and Galaxy Dance Festivals deliver an exciting awards program that shines a spotlight on excellence within specific dance disciplines! From solos and duets to groups, the highest scoring routines in each style will be celebrated with top honors.

What sets Catch a Rising Star apart? It’s our unique and dynamic scoring system, designed to recognize well-rounded artistry. Each performance is evaluated across four key categories: Technique (30%), Performance (30%), Choreography (30%), and Overall Look (10%).

Plus, we go a step further—studios with the highest average scores in each category will be awarded for their standout strength in those specific areas. It’s not just about winning—it’s about showcasing the full spectrum of dance excellence!

At Nova Dance Challenge, the spotlight shines across three exciting age divisions! The top-scoring groups, solos, and duets in the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Age Divisions will be celebrated for their standout performances. But that’s not all—studios with the highest overall average in each division will take home the title of Division Champion. It’s all about rising to the top and representing your age group with excellence!

All events will commence with a Top Awards Ceremony and with the Overall High Score winner. (no dance-off)
